Sri Lanka, May 1 -- The current administration is being accused of treating employees unfairly and dismantling trade union rights by the Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa.
During a press briefing at Nelum Mawatha yesterday (01), Namal Rajapaksa stated that the government, which secured power with the help of the trade union movement, is now ignoring labour issues and failing to protect the interests of the working community. He remarked that the authorities now beat and chase away workers who seek intervention in union matters.
