Sri Lanka, April 18 -- A motorcyclist died on the spot after his high-speed motorcycle crashed into a shop wall in the Delduwa area of Moronthuduwa around 4:30 AM today (18).

Moronthuduwa Police state that the rider lost control of the vehicle before the collision.

The deceased was a 29-year-old unmarried youth residing in Nugagodawatta, Waskaduwa.

The impact caused severe head injuries, leading to his death at the scene.

The motorcycle sustained significant damage, and Moronthuduwa Police are conducting further investigations into the occurrence.
