Sri Lanka, May 23 -- The Irrigation Department has stated that there is a possibility of minor flooding in low-lying areas of the divisional secretariats of Ingiriya, Horana, Dodangoda, Millaniya, Kalutara, Bulathsinhala, Madurawala, and Palindanuwara within the next 24 hours.

This warning has been issued due to rainfall in the upstream catchment areas of the Kalu Ganga basin.
