Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs rejects false social media claims targeting Minister Hiniduma Sunil Senevi

The Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs has stated that false and fabricated information is being circulated on social media with the intention of defaming Minister Professor Hiniduma Sunil Senevi.

In a letter addressed to the Director General of Government Information, the Minister's Media Secretary Gunaratna Wickramathilaka noted that an identified social media activist created and released these false details online.
