Sri Lanka, April 2 -- The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education states that the following provisions are now in effect, in addition to the instructions in Circular No. 12/2016 dated 2016.04.29 regarding the maintenance of discipline within schools.

According to the Ministry, special attention must be paid to paragraph 17 of the Supreme Court judgment related to Case No. 461/2012 (FR) when implementing the contents of the aforementioned circular.
