Sri Lanka, Oct. 24 -- Minister highlights investment opportunities in Sri Lanka at London Business Forum

Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development Wasantha Samarasinghe says significant opportunities exist for British businesses to invest in Sri Lanka's emerging economy.

The Minister made these remarks while addressing a business and investment forum in London attended by business leaders, investors and industry representatives from both the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry, a large number of British companies representing sectors such as information technology, real estate, energy and food processing participated in the forum.
