Sri Lanka, May 12 -- The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka will work closely with all stakeholders and prospective investors to facilitate new investment opportunities at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA), as the country moves to open the facility to foreign participation.
The Board of Investment (BOI) has also been requested to promote the opportunity through its official digital platforms and international networks, reflecting strong inter-agency coordination behind the initiative.
A proposal briefing and site visit to Mattala is scheduled for 22 May 2026.
