Sri Lanka, Feb. 27 -- A sudden fire broke out at a warehouse belonging to a rubber products manufacturing facility in Kalutara, causing extensive damage to property, according to Kalutara South Police.

Reports indicate that a large quantity of rubber products stored within the warehouse was completely destroyed by the blaze.

In addition to the industrial inventory, a three-wheeler and two motorcycles parked near the warehouse were caught in the fire and totally incinerated.

The fire brigade of the Kalutara Municipal Council responded to the scene, supported by police officers, Special Task Force (STF) personnel, and residents who assisted in controlling the flames.
