SriLanka, April 7 -- Special Task Force (STF) personnel arrested a key associate and a female accomplice who managed local drug operations under the direction of overseas-based organized criminals Kanjipani Imran and Palani Shiran.

The arrested individuals are a 34-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both residents of the Haedala area in Wattala.

Officers of the Gonahena STF camp Special Operations Unit conducted the raid yesterday (06) near the Asiri Uyana junction in the Wattala police division, acting on intelligence. During the operation, officials seized 5 kg, 137 g, and 100 mg of Hashish.
