Mahanama College reach strong position in Battle of the Golds
SriLanka, May 9 -- Mahanama College finished the second day of the 20th annual Battle of the Golds cricket encounter against D.S. Senanayake College in a dominant position, reaching 161 for no loss at the SSC grounds in Colombo.
D.S. Senanayake College, batting first, posted a total of 344 runs. Miyuru Bandara anchored the innings with a century, scoring 100 runs, while Randisha Bandaranayake contributed 48. Chamika Heenatigala proved the pick of the bowlers for Mahanama College, claiming 6 wickets for 102 runs.
