Sri Lanka, March 1 -- Long queues formed near filling stations in Kandy city. Reports indicate that people remain in these lines for more than two or three hours.

Many filling stations took steps to suspend issuing fuel into cans and bottles due to the current situation, according to our correspondent. Vehicle owners arrive at these stations in large numbers due to suspicion that a fuel shortage might occur in the country because of Middle East war conflicts.
