Sri Lanka, April 14 -- Police arrested "Marawila Akila," the primary local distributor for a drug syndicate operated by "Hytop Thushara," a chief associate of the notorious underworld figure "Konda Ranjith", who is currently hiding in Dubai. The operation took place in the Dummaladeniya area of Wennappuwa following a tip-off received by the Director of the Walana Central Anti-Corruption Resilience Unit.

Authorities seized 120 grams and 580 milligrams of heroin, along with 53 grams and 610 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine (ICE), from the suspect's possession at the time of the arrest.
