Sri Lanka, May 23 -- Both lanes heading towards Colombo on the Colombo-Negombo main road, from the Ganemulla Intersection to Aniyakanda Hospital, will be closed to traffic tonight (23) from 10:30 pm to 1 am, according to the Police.

This is due to the annual Vesak procession of the Hapugoda Sri Wardhanarama Temple taking to the streets.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during this period.
