Sri Lanka, Oct. 25 -- The number of school children injured in the collision between a tour bus and a train at the Koggala railway level crossing on the Galle Road rose to 10 today.

Police confirm that officers arrested the driver of the bus following the crash.

The incident occurred earlier today when the bus, carrying a group of students on an educational trip, collided with a train at the Galle-Koggala level crossing.

Police state that authorities continue their investigations into the incident, while medical staff care for the injured children admitted to the hospital.
