Sri Lanka, May 19 -- The joint opposition submitted a letter to the Special Presidential Commission investigating coal fraud today (19).

The letter bore the signatures of eight individuals representing the United National Party, United Republic Front, New People's Front Leader Sugeeshwara Bandara, former Member of Parliament Premanath C Dolawatta, and former Minister Professor G.L. Peiris.

The joint opposition expressed astonishment via their letter to the commission regarding the statement made by Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna General Secretary Tilvin Silva about coal fraud at the May Day rally held in Hambantota.
