SriLanka, March 15 -- The Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, has held talks with his Sri Lankan counterpart, Vijitha Herath, to address escalating regional instability and bilateral cooperation.

During a telephone call on Friday evening, Seyed Abbas Araghchi briefed the Sri Lankan minister on the current situation in the Middle East. He specifically detailed the aftermath of what Tehran has characterised as military aggression by Israel and the United States against Iranian interests.
