Sri Lanka, Oct. 9 -- A full investigation commenced into an organised process of intentionally causing collisions with 'Metro' buses deployed along seven routes for public transport convenience and to minimise Colombo traffic congestion, police stated.

Several incidents of private buses targeting Metro buses to cause collisions were observed, Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of the Traffic Control and Road Safety Range W.P.J. Senadheera stated while attending a special media briefing held at the Maharagama Police Station.
