Sri Lanka, April 15 -- Police Headquarters informed the public that the IGP relief programmes scheduled for the coming days will not be held due to the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festive season.

According to a media release, the "IGP Relief Day" regarding appeals from police officers, which was scheduled for tomorrow (16), is cancelled.

Additionally, the "IGP Public Relief Day" scheduled for the day after tomorrow (17) will also not take place as planned due to the ongoing festivities.
