Sri Lanka, July 8 -- An inmate who was transferred to the Boossa prison following the unrest at the Negombo prison died.

The individual passed away after being admitted to the Galle National Hospital due to a sudden medical condition.

The hospital police stated that he died after admission to the hospital.
