Initial probe completed in case against Manusha Nanayakkara
Sri Lanka, Aug. 28 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption informed Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama today (28) that initial investigations into the case filed against former Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara, who was arrested by the Bribery Commission over corruption allegations and released on bail, were completed.
When the case related to the incident was called, the Bribery Commission stated that initial investigations related to the incident were completed and requested the court to grant a date to inform on legal proceedings.
Accordingly, the Magistrate ordered the submission of further reports on 18 December.
The suspect related to the incident appeared in open court.
