Sri Lanka, Aug. 7 -- A person who filmed the official residences of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Chief Justice (CJ), and the vicinity on Wijerama Mawatha in Colombo 07, was arrested last night (06), the Police stated.

The mobile phone used by the suspect for filming was also taken into police custody.

An officer attached to the Special Task Force on duty at the main gate of the official residence observed a person who arrived in a luxury car, parked the vehicle and filmed from the road, near IGP's official residence.

Reports indicate that after the officer informed a Police Constable on traffic duty nearby, the officer notified the Colombo Emergency Response Division.
