Sri Lanka, June 19 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) today (19) filed indictments before the Colombo High Court against former State Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa and two others in connection with a corruption case.

The other accused named in the indictment are Sepalika Saman Kumari and Keerthi Bandara Kotagama.

The charges relate to allegations that, following damage caused during the May 9, 2022 'Aragalaya' protests to an unauthorised building and related property located on land belonging to the Mahaweli Authority in Savanagala, Kiribbanwewa, compensation was initially refused.
