Sri Lanka, Oct. 27 -- Deputy Solicitor General Janaka Bandara today (27) informed Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama that indictments had been filed against Namal and three others before the Permanent Trial-at-Bar in connection with the Airbus deal.

The Deputy Solicitor General told the court that the indictments, filed before the Colombo Permanent Trial-at-Bar with the approval of the Chief Justice, comprised 24 charges and listed 59 witnesses.

He further informed the court that today (27) was expected to be the final date on which the case would be taken up before the Magistrate's Court.

The case is scheduled to be called again before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court this afternoon.
