Sri Lanka, April 19 -- An official meeting between Indian Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya took place this morning (19) at Temple Trees in Colombo.

The Prime Minister hosted a special luncheon in honour of the visiting Indian Vice President.

Discussions centred extensively on further strengthening bilateral relations and promoting mutual ties between the people of both nations.

Both leaders recalled the long-standing civilizational and cultural heritage shared between India and Sri Lanka.
