Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in the island a short while ago for a three-day official visit.

Three Memorandums of Understanding regarding defence between the two countries are scheduled to be signed during his visit.

Remaining in the country until the day after tomorrow, the Indian Defence Minister is scheduled to meet and hold discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya, and Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Retired Sampath Thuyacontha during that time.
