Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- India will stand with Sri Lanka in any crisis, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said yesterday (08) afternoon during a welcoming ceremony held in Colombo for his official visit to the island.

Accordingly, he is scheduled to meet President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya today (09).

Furthermore, the Indian Defence Minister is scheduled to participate in a religious programme held at the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple today afternoon and will also participate in a religious activity held at the Seetha Amman Temple in Nuwara Eliya tomorrow.
