Sri Lanka, Oct. 8 -- Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama issued an order to the Criminal Investigation Department today (08), an immediate investigation must be conducted and facts reported to the court regarding an attempt to sell land worth 704 million rupees located in Kollupitiya using forged deeds.

An investigation into this land commenced, the Criminal Investigation Department stated when the case related to the incident was called.

An order should be issued to obtain documents, including deeds related to the land, from the Nugegoda and Colombo Land Registrar Offices, the Criminal Investigation Department requested at that time.
