Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) has summoned the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Homagama Police Station and two other police officers to appear before the commission tomorrow (29) over the death of a suspect inside a police cell.

According to HRCSL Commissioner Attorney-at-Law Nimal G. Punchihewa, the commission has also taken steps to record statements from several family members of the deceased as part of its inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death.
