Sri Lanka, June 18 -- Rumesh Tharanga, who is currently ranked second in the world in the javelin throw event, is set to compete in the Doha Diamond League athletics meet in Qatar tomorrow (19).

A key highlight of the event is the participation of Olympic medalist Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra, who is currently ranked fifth in the world.

This will also be the first time in recent competitions that both athletes will compete in the same event.
