Sri Lanka, May 29 -- To mark the Vesak Full Moon Poya Day, the Hiru Shakya Singha Ceremony, organised by the Hiru Media Network, including Hiru TV and Hiru FM, will be held at the historic Mahiyangana Raja Maha Vihara - the sacred site associated with the Buddha's first visit to Sri Lanka and the performance of the Yamaka Maha Perahera miracle.

In conjunction with the ceremony, devotees will also have the rare opportunity to venerate the authentic Sri Sarvajna Relics from Kapilavastu, beginning the day after tomorrow (31) morning at the Mahiyanganaya temple grounds.
