Sri Lanka, Aug. 23 -- Hiru Media Network secured a remarkable number of accolades at the 2026 Diamond Excellence Awards, held in Colombo today (23).

Among the key achievements, Hiru TV's 'Hiru Star' was named the Most Popular Music Reality Television Programme of the Year, while 'Salakuna' won the Most Popular Political Programme of the Year award.

Hiru TV's 'Paththare Vistare' was recognised as the Most Popular Infotainment Television Programme of the Year, while 'Hiru Shraddhabhi Vandana' received the Buddhist Spiritual Service, Religious Media Excellence and Cultural Heritage Promotion Award.
