Sri Lanka, Oct. 3 -- A lecturer at the Ocean University of Negombo has reportedly subjected students attending lectures to severe mental and physical harassment, according to revelations broadcast by Hiru CIA yesterday. Professor and Attorney-at-Law Prathibha Mahanamahewa emphasized that university students can under no circumstances be subjected to such forms of torture.

Students in the country hold the fundamental right to pursue their education freely from early childhood through higher education without facing any physical or mental distress.
