Sri Lanka, April 30 -- Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Harshana Suriyapperuma arrived at Parliament a short while ago.

The Secretary is attending to appear before the Committee on Public Finance (COPF).

Members expect to question him regarding the financial management of the Finance Ministry and a recent controversial $2.5 million financial transaction.

The Treasury Secretary informed the Committee on Public Finance yesterday (29) that he would not appear before the committee today (30).
