Sri Lanka, Oct. 22 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake seeks advice from Duminda Hulangamuwa, who also served as an economic adviser to former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, MP Harsha de Silva told Parliament today.

"Ranil Wickremesinghe's economic 'osthar' was Duminda Hulangamuwa, and he is also President Dissanayake's economic 'osthar'," de Silva said.

He pointed out what he described as an irony in the situation, arguing that members of the government criticise Wickremesinghe's economic policies even though those policies were implemented on Hulangamuwa's advice.
