Sri Lanka, April 19 -- Police launched an investigation following a shooting at a residence in Midigama last night.

A gunman targeted the house before setting fire to a motor vehicle parked on the premises.

Residents managed to extinguish the flames, and authorities confirmed that no injuries occurred during the incident.

Officers continue to search for the suspect responsible for the targeted attack.
