SriLanka, March 13 -- Ensuring Sri Lanka's fuel security amid the risk of global supply chain disruptions caused by the Middle East conflict led to an urgent meeting today (13) between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism and the Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Levan S. Dzhagaryan.
Discussions focused extensively on the potential for continuous fuel imports from Russia and the necessary procedures to follow, especially given the lifting of prior sanctions on Russian oil purchases, according to a statement from the Ministry.
