Sri Lanka, Oct. 21 -- The government will proceed with the plan initiated under former President J. R. Jayewardene to establish Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte as Sri Lanka's administrative capital, Deputy Minister Eranga Gunasekara told Parliament today.

He said discussions were underway on relocating government institutions and embassies to Kotte as part of the plan.
