Sri Lanka, June 14 -- The government provided no notification so far regarding the holding of the National Poson Festival, Chief Incumbent of Mihintale temple Venerable Walahagunawewa Dhammaratana Thera stated.

The Thera made these remarks during a press conference today (14) while responding to a question raised by a journalist regarding whether state sponsorship was received for the National Poson Festival.
