Sri Lanka, March 23 -- Patients receiving medicine from government hospital clinics will now receive a two-month supply in a single visit instead of the usual one-month quota.
Health Deputy Minister Hansaka Wijemuni stated that the Ministry of Health issued these instructions to relevant institutions.
This decision follows a meeting chaired by the Health Minister to manage fuel consumption given the current situation in the country.
The Deputy Minister pointed out that patients can obtain the required medicine for two months from clinics starting this week.
