Sri Lanka, Oct. 5 -- The general secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena organisation, Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera, is scheduled to be produced before the Court of Appeal today (05).

The Colombo Magistrate's Court ordered the thera to be remanded in custody until today following an arrest on outstanding warrants.

Officers of the Colombo Crimes Division produced the thera before the additional magistrate in chambers when a motion relating to the warrants was taken up yesterday (04).

Police informed the court that warrants had been issued against the thera by the Court of Appeal, the Colombo High Court, and the Colombo Magistrate's Court.
