Sri Lanka, Oct. 29 -- A full investigation launched into the death of the youth who died in the Homagama police cell, Police Media Spokesperson F. U. Wuttler stated.

The police spokesperson mentioned this while addressing a media briefing held today (29).

Furthermore, the police spokesperson stated that action will be taken to ensure such unfortunate incidents do not occur in the future, and no officer involved in this incident will be protected.

Speaking further, the police spokesperson stated:
