Sri Lanka, April 9 -- A former local government councillor from an independent group was apprehended by Ampara Divisional Anti-Corruption Unit officers for transporting "ICE" meticulously concealed inside a toy through a courier service.
Police state that the operation was carried out by raiding the suspect's house in the Kalmunai area based on a special intelligence tip-off received by the Ampara Divisional Anti-Corruption Unit.
Officers subjected the house to a rigorous search for several hours, during which they discovered 107 grams of ICE hidden in the neck area of a small teddy bear.
