Sri Lanka, Sept. 4 -- Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to the United States of America Mahinda Samarasinghe has commended the staff at the passport office for their helpfulness and efficiency during his visit to obtain an ordinary passport.

In a social media post expressing his appreciation to everyone involved, the former diplomat noted that all officers on duty performed their tasks in a remarkably helpful and efficient manner.

"I went to the passport office today to obtain an ordinary passport. Everyone there was very helpful and worked efficiently. Thank you very much to all of you!" he stated in the post.
