Sri Lanka, May 15 -- A foreign airline passenger attempting to smuggle a stock of cocaine valued at 108 million rupees through the "Green Channel" at the Katunayake airport arrival terminal was arrested by Customs Narcotics Control Department officials this morning (15).

The arrested suspect is a 60-year-old Indian geologist. He carried the stock of drugs from Kampala, Uganda to Doha, Qatar, and arrived at Katunayake airport at 10:40 AM today aboard Qatar Airways flight QR-664.
