Sri Lanka, April 21 -- Mobile and fixed-line telephone penetration increased significantly, with mobile connections reaching approximately 147 per 100 persons while fixed lines stand at 12.1 per 100 persons.
The 2025 Annual Economic Review released yesterday (20) detailed these figures, highlighting a steady upward trend in national connectivity.
This performance marks a notable growth compared to the previous year.
In 2024, the data showed 141.2 mobile connections per 100 individuals, while fixed-line numbers sat lower at 9.7 per 100 people.
