Sri Lanka, May 13 -- Five students were hospitalised following a clash between two groups of Advanced Level students at a school in Eppawala. Police stated that a student who brought a sharp weapon into the school for the confrontation was taken into custody.

The conflict originated several days ago following a dispute between a student from the technology stream and another from the biological science stream at the same college. According to the police, the student from the biological science stream brought a sharp weapon to the school today to seek revenge, leading to the current clash.
