Sri Lanka, Oct. 22 -- The Department of Meteorology informed fishermen and naval communities to refrain from engaging in fishing and naval activities in the sea areas between North latitudes 10 and 20 and East longitudes 80 and 95 until further notice, due to the risk of a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal.

It further advised fishing and naval vessels currently in those sea areas to move to safe areas.
