Sri Lanka, Sept. 13 -- The first long-range luxury private jet owned by a Sri Lankan landed recently at Ratmalana International Airport, completing its inaugural flight from Perth, Australia.

The Gulfstream business jet, capable of flying at an altitude of approximately 51,000 feet above sea level-well above standard commercial airliners-is designed for long-distance travel with a continuous flight endurance of nearly 14 hours. Accommodating up to 17 passengers, the ultra-luxury aircraft features a bedroom, dining area, rest zones, and a fully equipped kitchen.
