Sri Lanka, July 28 -- An awareness and training programme on letter management and meeting scheduling through Microsoft Office 365 technology took place today at the new auditorium of the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development as another special step towards digitising the public service.

The primary objective of this programme is to manage all letters received by the ministry via mail and physically through a digital system, facilitating the execution of duties even from home.

These awareness sessions were conducted physically and virtually for Directors General and chief officers of independent departments, as well as officers from the ministry's administrative and postal divisions.
