Sri Lanka, March 2 -- Blessings and continuous support will be provided to the government as they take the correct path free from fraud and corruption, despite certain shortcomings, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka states.

Speaking to the media yesterday (01) after visiting the Chief Prelate of the Malwatta Chapter, Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thera, he clarified that no expectations exist for him to hold responsible positions within the administration.

Responsibilities should belong to those who worked to bring the government into power, as accepting positions from the outside would not be successful, he further noted.
